Emily Krause
Childhood Development Specialist
In a world full of advice on child development, how do we find the clarity to truly understand what each individual child needs to flourish? What if we could move beyond generic strategies and learn to confidently respond to their unique emotional and learning journeys?
For over 20 years, Emily has been rooted in the world of early years education. Her extensive experience includes working in nurseries, running an OFSTED rated Outstanding childminding business, and serving in key leadership roles as both the Chair and Lead Childminder for the Somerset Childminders Association, where she delivered training opportunities and inspired fellow practitioners. More recently, she has supported primary-aged children with barriers to learning and taken on the role of Senior Mental Health Lead, bringing immense insight and depth to her work.
What has stayed constant throughout Emily's career is a deep passion for children's mental health and wellbeing. What has grown is her understanding of just how powerful a holistic and trauma informed approach is and the profound impact it has, both in educational settings, and at home.
She has become fascinated by the why and how of supporting children’s mental health and well-being, and she loves nothing more than sharing practical, meaningful ideas with others. She believes that whether you're a parent, practitioner, educator, or carer, if you're part of a child’s world, you have a vital role to play.
Emily is here to help you see things through an early observer’s lens – to notice more, understand deeper, and feel confident in the small things that make the biggest difference.
Let’s support children to thrive – together.
